Coastal Rain

When the rain hammers down in the country and on the roof mate,

It is good

But when the rain hammers down on the coast mate,

This is not good.

We’ve been at the pub and talked of the flood

And its not going to happen here mate.

We watch it rise, on our doorstep and

Our dog’s bed is what it will reach next

But we’ve been at the pub tonight mate

And its not going to happen here next.
