My Love, it is time

To leave this wide view.

Tomorrow calls new promise

and dreams of sunbeams

to light my tears.

Diamond bright I stride,

Unsure and yet so certain!

For I take this journey with you –

My yellow mac, my dreams

And this tipsy, tiny boat.

with these unchartered waters.

Turquoise deep – to the unknown,

Where beauty unfurls her winking eye

This was just after we bought The River House in Shoalhaven Heads and were about to put Yellow Dog Farm in Jaspers Brush on the market).  Leah and Declan came to stay with us for a few days.  Whilst I was excited about the River House, I was broken hearted to be leaving our beloved Yellow Dog Farm, and I shed many tears in her arms.

I find the synchronicity of this quite extraordinary, as today we will exchange contracts on the sale of The River House (34 Hay Avenue) as we are buying the house next door (32 Hay Avenue) - soon to be called The Bridge House.   Leah wrote this almost ten years ago exactly as today is 5th June 2020.
